Friday's post - inspiration

There seems to be no end to things that inspire me these days.
Sometimes I feel overwhelmed by the creative energy of art and nature.

Truth be told, I spend a lot of time just gazing at things.
I can be found standing in my yard memorized by the sprinkler or making a close examination of the wind blowing the bittersweet vine that crawls swiftly along my cyclone fence.

I am also blessed with the ability to surf the internet with pure instinct which stems from my lazy reading habits. The fruits of which land me in mailing lists and websites that fill my gluten free blood stream with sugary sweet inspiration from what seems to be a kind of primal source. What I mean is that I don't do any research of any kind, this stuff just comes to me like a stroke of cosmic good luck.

Here's what I found today.
Michelle Stitzlein

and her site Art Grange

Michelle makes these incredible sculptures from found objects and recycled items

and they're big (one of my favorite attributes in art)

Happy Friday to you all. I hope you find yourself bowled over by the creative forces of nature.

It would be fun to see her work in person. I love the cake!
