ps. my quest to create last weekend ended with me cutting a large portion of my finger off with my rotary cutter. It was 103 degrees so I gave up and went to the movies.more later.

Wednesday's video post - the Olympic spirit

Sometimes it's about heart and just being there and being able to say that you did it, you showed up.
It's funny, I think that things like this happen more often than we think. I love this aspect of the Olympics. The fact that a guy who comes from a country that probably has very limited access to 50 meter swimming pools has the heart and the guts to get up there and be a part of it all.

I'm not crazy about how the announcers are making fun of this guy but it's the only video I could find. What is funny is that the other two swimmers got disqualified.
